Bingo Night
What is Bingo Night?
Our Scouts parents work the food service for the Knights of Columbus the THIRD Thursday of the Month. The money earned for that night will go to the Boys Scout Accounts. It will only apply toward those boys whose parents work that day. The boys may use this money for Scouting Activities.
How long do I need to work for?
The hours are from 3:00 pm to about 9:30 pm (depending on clean up, after the last break of the night clean up can start). There is only room for about three parents at one time so schedules should be arranged from 3-6p and 6-9:30p, or 3-5p and 5-7p and 7-930p depending on what the parents who work that day agree on.
Who do I speak to about working?
Each Patrol Leaders parent will call and arrange the schedule for the parents from their patrol.
What do we do?
We must total the cash in the cash register and place total on Scout Book. We must also total what was earned in our cash box. Total should also be put in the Scout Book. Count Should be done by two parents and signature of both parents in Scout Book. Money from our cash box should be given to Mr. Parikh at the next Troop Meeting.
Supplies are located in the front door to your right as you enter the hall. Supplies are also in the refrigerator. Things we need to place out are: relish, mayo, chili, and ketchup. Coffee should already be made so all we need to do is roll it out. Nacho cheese and chili will go into crock pots. When serving bake potatoes they should be placed in ice chest cover with towels to keep them warm. Hot dogs are kept in serving dish and keep warm with burners.
We only use the soda fountain. We get the ice from the Ice maker and place it in the sinks.
